Overall Purpose Of The Job

Part of the Danone Group working in the Marketing team of the Nutricia Medical Division UKIR. The Brand Manager Core Oral is responsible for the operational leadership or for key projects for the Core Oral in Ireland. This role will be responsible for both inputting into the category and brand strategy and for the development and execution of the annual operating plan (or key projects therein) in line with agreed commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the 12 month Annual Operating Plan (or of key projects) for Core Oral and input into 3 year category plan to drive sustainable profitable growth
- Excellence in execution of the Annual Operating Plan (or key projects) in line with company values and behaviours
- Lead and actively participate in projects to support the UKIR Marketing Vision
- Continuous building and sharing of market and stakeholder understanding for Core Oral, and the identification of actionable insights
- Contribute to the identification, assessment and business case development of new opportunities for Core Oral growth (brand positioning, products, services, channels) and the development of launch plans
- Development, execution and evaluation of stakeholder connection strategies and activities for Core Oral and managing agencies to deliver projects / objectives
- Contribute to the cross functional development of KDM influencing activities and communication
- Operational financial management of Core Oral including accurate sales forecasting, A&P budget control, and contribution to ROI analysis
- Personal development

Main Challenges

- Building strong relationship with x-functional teams sometimes across different geographies to ensure alignment on strategy and tactics
- Developing and actioning insights and value propositions for existing, new and emerging customers
- Developing strategies on how to best to influence behaviour and connect with stakeholders in uncertain and changing regulatory environments and the digital age
- Tight financial management of key projects
- Developing own competencies to increase brand management experience

Deliverables and KPIs

In line with annual PDR objectives, ensure business drivers, social and financial drivers are met. These business drivers should be smart and aligned with manager on annual basis.

Job Holder Skills & Experience Required

- Experience across main elements of the marketing mix with ability to uncover and execute winning strategies
- Ability to liaise cross functionally with key departments and gain stakeholder buy-in to plans
- Good understanding of how NHS system works in primary and secondary care
- Good analytic and financial management skills
- Good communication skills (written/ verbal) - clear and persuasive
- Experience of agency management to deliver results
- Experience of developing customer relationships to help shape plans and external environment

- Collaborative working style with ability to seek win-win situations
- Experience working with global stakeholders
- Strong focus on personal development
- An emerging leader who can help shape the direction of the category/ company

Job Holder Education & Qualifications Required

- Degree in Marketing, life sciences or business from a leading university or CiM members holding a Chartered Marketer Qualification (or equivalent)
- Fluent English speaker
