Hours Of Work

Full time with some flexibility.

Salary

Competitive salary, with benefits including private health insurance, discretionary performance pay and flexible working hours.

Travel

Field based covering residential care facilities. Company care provided. Location is flexible though occasional travel to the Nutricia office in Dublin will be required.

Reporting To

Senior Dietitian / Medical Affairs Manager

The Role


Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Conducting dietetic reviews in community residential care facilities

  • Providing nutritional and technical support and advice on the Nutricia product range to health care professionals (HCPs) and their patients

  • Support nursing homes to deliver best nutritional care to their residents

  • Conducting training with staff in nursing homes

  • Building relationships with a wide range of HCPs in the community including nursing home nurses, practice nurses, GPs and community dietitians

  • Liaising with territory partners to manage relationships with HCPs in the region

  • Collaborating with dietitians in the Medical Affairs department to develop support materials and resources for HCPs

  • Undertaking continuous professional development as a member of the Medical Affairs department


  • Experience


    The ideal candidate will have:
  • Registered Dietitian status approved by CORU

  • A minimum of 6 months clinical experience

  • A full driving license

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills


  • The successful candidate will:
  • Be able to establish trust and credibility with HCPs

  • Have a friendly and outgoing personality

  • Have the ability to work well on your own initiative and also as part of a team

  • Have strong time management, organisational and planning skills

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
