Description

Nutrison 1000 Complete Multi Fibre is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Nutrison 1000 Complete Multi Fibre is a 1.0kcal/ml tube feed for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition in patients with low energy and/or low fluid requirements.Nutrison 1000 Complete Multi Fibre is nutritionally complete in 1000kcal.

Suitable as a sole source of nutrition for adults and children over 6 years of age.

Contraindications

Not for intravenous use. Not suitable for infants under 1 year of age.Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia or patients requiring a fibre free diet.

Precautions

Use with caution in children aged 1-6 years. Coagulation in the digestive tract, e.g. due to drug interaction, may occur. Careful monitoring is required.

Directions for Use

Shake well before opening immediately prior to use at room temperature. Maximum hanging time 24 hours.Flexible Packs can be attached directly to a Flocare Pack giving set.

Product Storage

Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C) and away from direct sunlight.
Once opened aseptically handled Pack can be kept for maximum of 24 hours. Once opened any unused contents should be discarded after 24 hours.

Pack: 12 months.
