Beef, cauliflower and rice weaning recipe using Infatrini

  • 60g (2 oz) raw tender cut of lean beef - finely chopped or 30g (1 oz)
  • cooked lean roast beef - finely chopped (optional)
  • 30g (1 oz) / 3 small cauliflower florets (without stalks) cut into small pieces
  • 15g (1/2 oz) uncooked long grain rice
  • 10ml (1/3 fl oz) / 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 60 - 100ml / (2 fl oz - 31/4 fl oz) Infatrini ®

Method / Preparation

1. Simmer raw beef (if used) in 60ml (2 fl oz) water for ten minutes until cooked.
2. Boil rice in 150ml (5 fl oz) water, adding cauliflower after 5 minutes. Continue to boil until cooked (approx a further 10 minutes). Add the cooked beef (if used) 3 to 4 minutes before the rice is cooked, to heat through.
3. Finally, blend the beef, rice, cauliflower, oil, 60ml (2 fl oz) Infatrini ® and 30ml (1 fl oz) of cooking juices or water in a liquidiser or hand-held blender. If a thinner purée is required, add additional Infatrini ®.
