TEMPLE Module - CACT deficiency

We know that learning about a Metabolic Condition can be confusing, as there is a lot to take in and understand. We created TEMPLE (which stands for Tools Enabling Metabolic Parents' LEarning) to provide support and help families of newly diagnosed children to better understand the condition. TEMPLE provides a way for your Doctor or Dietitian to explain the condition in a clear and consistent way, covering topics such as diagnosis, genetics and dietary management.

TEMPLE has been developed in collaboration with the British Inherited Metabolic Disease Group (BIMDG) to ensure that all the essential and relevant information is included to help you feel more confident about managing your child’s Metabolic Condition.

We hope that the TEMPLE tool has helped make things a little clearer. To access the slides click here.
