1. Packaging design & colour of lids - Neocate Junior
From November 2026, you’ll see new packaging designs for Neocate Junior.
The images below help you to identify the changes to the packaging design, which includes moving from a gold to a purple lid.

Why has the packaging changed?
The Neocate Junior tins will now feature a cleaner, more modern label - including a lid colour change (from gold to purple) - designed to make the range easier to recognise and navigate for families and HCPs. The updated design brings the product in line with the broader Neocate range and supports clearer communication of flavour and usage.
How should I prepare Neocate Junior?
You should continue to prepare Neocate Junior in the same way as usual, following the instructions on the tin. For best results:
- Wash your hands and clean the preparation area.
- Use clean equipment to prepare the feed. Always use the scoop provided in the tin.
· Measure the required amount of warm or cool water into a container. Please note: Neocate Junior is best served chilled.
- Add the prescribed number of scoops of Neocate Junior into the water. Cover and shake or whisk until the powder has been dissolved.
- Once prepared, refrigerate and consume within 24 hours. Shake or stir the feed immediately before serving.
- Any formula remaining in the container / cup after one hour of feeding should be discarded.†
- Prepared feeds can be left outside of the fridge (e.g. when travelling) for a maximum of 4 hours.
†If your child is tube fed, Neocate Junior can hang for a maximum of 4 hours.
2. Neocate Junior Formulation changes
- We’ve made a small change to how Neocate Junior Vanilla and Strawberry taste. They are now a little less sweet, but the formula itself hasn’t changed - it still provides the same complete nutrition and remains safe and suitable for your child. Before making this update, we carried out taste checks with parents and children, and the renovated flavours were well liked and accepted.
- There are no changes to the clinical indications or dietary suitability of Neocate Junior.
- There are no changes to the preparation instructions; please continue to prepare your baby’s formula as per the instructions on the label.
- Your Dietitian/GP can continue your prescription as usual.
- Neocate Junior’s hypoallergenicity, amino acid profile, clinical indication and core nutritional composition remain unchanged.

Breastfeeding is best. Neocate Junior is a Food for Special Medical Purpose. It should only be used under medical supervision, after full consideration of the feeding options available including breastfeeding. Neocate Junior is used for the dietary management of Cow’s Milk Allergy, Multiple Food Protein Allergies and other conditions where an amino acid based formula is recommended. It is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition from one year of age. Refer to label for details.
