Nutrini Peptisorb

Nutrini Peptisorb is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Nutrini Peptisorb is a nutritionally complete 1kcal/ml peptide based tube feed, designed for children aged 1-6 years or 8-20kg in body weight. Nutrini Peptisorb is based on short chain peptides for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition in patients with malabsorption and/or maldigestion. Nutrini Peptisorb is suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Nutrini Peptisorb is available in 500ml collapsible bottles.

Not suitable for infants under 1 year of age. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.

If a child at the lower end of the range for age and weight is prescribed only a small volume of feed, it may be necessary to give an additional vitamin/trace element supplement to achieve requirements for micronutrients.

Shake well before opening. Use at room temperature. Collapsible bottles can be attached directly to a Flocare pack giving set. When directly connected to a giving set (aseptically handled, closed system), collapsible bottles have a hanging time of max. 24 hours. If the cap has been removed (used as an open system) then collapsible bottles have a hanging time of max. 8 hours.

Demineralised water, maltodextrin, vegetable oils (medium chain triglycerides (coconut and palm oil), soy bean oil), whey protein hydrolysate (from cow's milk), starch (corn), acidity regulator (citric acid), potassium citrate, calcium hydrogen phosphate, sodium chloride, magnesium hydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride, potassium di hydrogen phosphate, sodium L-ascorbate, choline chloride, carotenoids ((contains soy) & beta carotene, lycopene oleoresin from tomatoes (soy), lutein (soy)), taurine, ferrous lactate, zinc sulphate, L-carnitine, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, copper gluconate, nicotinamide, calcium D-pantothenate, manganese sulphate, thiamin hydrochloride, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, sodium fluoride, retinyl acetate, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, chromium chloride, potassium iodide, D-biotin, sodium selenite, phytomenadione, cholecalciferol, cyanocobalamin. 12 months. Best before date: see individual packaging.

Store in a dry, cool place (5-25°C) and away from direct sunlight. Once opened, store closed bottles in a refrigerator (<5°C) for maximum 24 hours. Discard any unused contents after 24 hours.
