Cow's Milk Allergy

Cow's Milk Allergy (CMA), also known as Cow's Milk Protein Allergy (CMPA), is one of the most common food allergies presenting in infancy. CMA occurs when the immune system reacts inappropriately to a protein in cow's milk. The allergic response can affect multiple systems and present with symptoms including gastrointestinal, respiratory and skin, and can be difficult to identify and accurately diagnose.
