PKU GMPro Ultra Lemonade

PKU GMPro Ultra is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. PKU GMPro Ultra is a flavoured, nutritionally incomplete, low phenylalanine* powdered drink mix containing glycomacropeptide (GMP), with essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals, trace elements and asmall amount of carbohydrate and fat. With sugars and sweeteners. PKU GMPro Ultra is available in two flavours, vanilla and lemonade, in 30 x 33.4g sachets. *PKU GMPro Ultra contains 36.0mg of phenylalanine per 33.4g sachet. This should be taken into consideration as part of the patient’s overall dietary intake. Protein substitutes based on GMP are a natural source of phenylalanine.

Must be used under medical supervision. Use with caution in children aged 3-6 years. Only intended for use by individuals with phenylketonuria (PKU). This product should not be used as a sole source of protein but must be given in conjunction with natural protein and other nutrients to supply the phenylalanine, fluid and general nutrition requirements of the patient in medically prescribed quantities.

The quantity of feed and dilution should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only, and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. The recommended feed concentration is 33.4g powder (1 sachet) made up with 180ml water to give a final volume of 210ml. A lower concentration may be required according to individual tastes and tolerance. Water or additional fluid should be offered at the same time to ensure adequate fluid intake. The health of the patient depends on carefully following the directions for preparation and use. 1. Wash your hands, clean all utensils. 2. Measure the required amount of cold water into a container. 3. Add the prescribed quantity of powder. 4. Seal and shake well until the powder has dissolved. PKU GMPro Ultra is best served chilled and should be consumed immediately.

Casein glycomacropeptide (GMP) isolate (48.29%) (from cow's milk), L-leucine, sugar, L-tyrosine, flavour enhancer (E330), L-arginine, flavouring, magnesium hydrogen phosphate, L-histidine, tricalcium phosphate, L-valine, L-cystine, dried glucose syrup, L-tryptophan, calcium hydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride, maltodextrin, choline bitartrate, calcium carbonate, potassium citrate, sodium chloride, anticaking agent (E551), taurine, L-ascorbic acid, sweetener (sucralose), L-carnitine, inositol, ferrous sulphate, DL-α-tocopheryl acetate, nicotinamide, zinc oxide, copper gluconate, calcium D-pantothenate, thiamin hydrochloride, manganese sulphate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, retinyl palmitate, sodium selenite, beta-carotene, sodium molybdate, potassium iodide, chromium chloride, folic acid, phytomenadione, D-biotin, cholecalciferol, cyanocobalamin. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Once opened, use immediately. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.
